So when I was in Minneapolis I used to sew ponchos . After each poncho was completed I would photograph them on various people. This poncho was made from a lining that had “yves saint laurent , paris, new york ” printed all over it. The fabric was found at a thrift store called Arc Value Village. I shot this particular photograph in the bathroom of an older gay couple’s home, near Lake of the Isles. The decor was 80/90’s and amazing. The couple worked as scouts for porn studios in California. They would invite guys over and film video of them showering and jerking off , and pay them afterwards. They were very professional and sweet. I shot two test videos for them after they had contacted me from seeing my escort webpage online. I never got a video deal in the end, but they let me shoot my poncho , on my friend, in their home. It all worked out.
